Domaine Seguin is a small Burgundy estate of just 6.5 hectares, specialising in the production of Pinot Noir in the Cotes de Nuits, especially Gevrey Chambertin. They work along organic principles, avoiding herbicides and other chemical inputs. This Gevrey Chambertin is from a small plot of 40-50 year old vines. The grapes are destemmed and the wine ages for 15 months in 30% new French oak. A fresh, fragrant Pinot imbued with aromas of raspberry, damson, hints of subtle oak spice and silky, balanced tannins
